Dominican Republic

I am finally getting to this blog post. This was definitely the favorite part of our trip! But we did have a rough time getting in and out of the country... I will spare you the story because it is something that I want to forget! I just want to remember how dang beautiful the beach was. And of course eating and drinking all that we wanted whenever we wanted was nice too. Gosh I am a sucker for an all inclusive vacation, and let me tell ya, we will be doing another one that is for sure. I think the next one will be in Cancun. But until then, we will just remember this beautiful place!

This pool is so dang beautiful, but we actually never swam in it! We loved swimming in the ocean so there was no need!

These crazy birds... all over the place!! They sound just like a gobbling turkey! It was so annoying haha but they also made me laugh. And I am sure Brandon enjoyed listening to me imitate them all the time!

This was our favorite drink! Of all names it could be called, it was called the Donald Duck. Haha we got so many funny looks when we had to yell what drink we wanted at the bar. I guess that's what happens when you don't drink alcohol, you get to order off the kids menu! It just became funnier each time we had to say it.

Oh man.... I really want to go back. The ocean seriously was the best! It was especially great that I could see my legs under water, so I knew a shark wasn't about to gnaw on them! For reals, I used to have shark attack dreams almost every night. I thought for sure I was destined to die by shark attack. Ask Brandon, I did not swim in the ocean one time on our honeymoon. I will never willingly get into dark, wavy water! The water here was just so perfect! We even got to swim out to the reefs and feed the fish. That was such a fun thing to do every day, and it was so beautiful! Who wants to go to Cancun with us? Haha because I am about ready to start saving my pennies again! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed living through pictures with us!
