Such is Life

Wow, it definitely has been awhile since I have done anything worth documenting. My life consists of work, work, and then mostly nothing. I really need to get myself out of the house more often. But here are some snippets of the past few weeks (or more). Brandon and I sure have been making an effort to get out and do things together before little babies make their way into our lives. I am enjoying every second with just my guy for as long as we can! Time with family and friends has been much needed and appreciated. I sure do have a great life and sometimes I forget to remember that. I am so blessed and so happy! Hopefully I will get some more exciting posts up soon.  XOXO

Camping is our Favorite

We went camping at the end of this summer in a place we have never been before. It was pretty, although it was not my favorite place to camp. I do love getting out in nature and camping with my pup. She seems to get more and more adventurous and brave each time we go. We plan to continue to go camping each and every year. It definitely does not count as true camping unless your are tenting it and cooking over the fire. So I am sure that is how it will be for us forever, and we love it!!

Off to the Races

It's about time that I get this post up. Brandon has been asking me to get this one up for weeks. It was very much insisted that we go to Miller Motor Sports Park to watch the races. Brandon gets so giddy over these kinds of things. Even though I might not enjoy the event as much as he does, I sure do enjoy watching him enjoy the heck out of it. This time around we invited my parents, and my dad sure was giddy about it too! They sure loved checking out all the fancy cars and I guess the sound of car engines sure makes men all sorts of excited. I just had to laugh at the excitement. Don't get me wrong, I do love a nice car and enjoy looking at them, but watching them go round and round the track is more of a headache than anything. But if it makes the husband happy, I will go!

There is no doubt that Brandon and I are Acura fans, seeing as I drive an Acura MDX and Brandon drives an Acura TL. So Brandon definitely made sure to get him an Acura souvenir.
