Yes, there is still more...
A day in the City
After learning about bees, Brother Thompson took us to see another family that Brandon stayed with as a missionary. I could totally live in Jackson, the land is amazingly beautiful and so green! Visited with the Schoen's and I got to hear some more stories about Brandon as a missionary. We also got to eat the pickled cinnamon cucumbers that Brandon loved so much while he lived their. They were so weird, but so yummy too! After visiting we made the long drive back to the city. We visited the Arch Museum and the Capitol. The Arch was not as cool as I expected it to be.. I was hoping to get to the top and be scared to death, but really it wasn't all that thrilling haha. It was still a cool experience and I am glad I at least did it once.

Afterwards we had dinner plans with the Jensen's. I had so much fun getting to know this family. They made us some delicious tacos. I am a sucker for homemade Mexican food. It was so yummy! We had so many funny conversations and we loved hanging out with them. We quickly made our way to visit a couple people that are very special to Brandon. Brandon baptized both Penny and Kaitlyn while on his mission. He was also so glad that he was able to go through the temple with Penny. He was happy that he was able to visit with them for a short while. We made our way back to visit some more with the Jensens. They are hilarious and I just loved talking with them. We are grateful that they let us stay in their home.

The next morning we ate Breakfast at Bob Evan's with another special family. The Betzolds were a family that helped Brandon a lot when he first began his journey as a missionary. They have the sweetest little family. Although we didn't get to visit with all of them, I have heard plenty of good things about them. I am so grateful for all of these people who made such an impact on Brandon's life. You are all so kind and I can't thank you enough for the hospitality you gave us while visiting St. Louis. We hope to visit again someday, or if you visit Utah, you are always welcome in our home!
